New York producer and pianist Eric Maltz recently moved to Berlin. In 2017, he released his first record on Levon Vincent’s Novel Sound, including the splendid “We Have Power”, an ode to freedom and celebration of life, featuring the warm vocals of Peruvian Cristina Valentina.

On the rhythmic dancefloor, Cristina’s words help us remember how a meaningful lyric and a loving message in music can touch our hearts so strongly.
Eric Maltz produces and mixes his music in a simple, subtle and elegant way. Eric has two instrumental EPs coming out on his Flower Myth label in 2018. The second one is due in September - it’s called “Estuaries”.

As “We Have Power” became a permanent tune in their sets, Possible Futures had to learn more about these two sensitive artists. “Naked Broken” is the first engraving of this newly formed and inspiring musical friendship. This new song is a hot groover rooted in a rich NY House tradition, featuring dierent versions for the adventurous DJ.

Eric Maltz & Cristina Valentina performed live in Berlin on September 2nd, for the annual Possible Futures summer dance party, along with Elena Colombi, Kassem Mosse, Moopie and Sassy J.
